Senator Mike Lee invites you to join him for a live telephone event on June 8th at 5:00 p.m. MT. Senator Lee looks forward to sharing information on a piece of legislation introduced as part of Article I Project, the Article I Regulatory Budget Act, which will give Congress greater control over the regulatory process. As the Senate debates the National Defense Authorization Act, there are several defense-related issues he would like to discuss. He also would like to share recent developments with his efforts to strengthen online privacy and reform our criminal justice system. Most importantly, he wants to hear about the topics and issues that are important to you. Come join Utahns from across the state and add your voice to this important dialogue.

Today, the vast majority of federal “laws”—upwards of 95 percent—are not passed by the House and Senate and signed by the president as the Constitution directs; they are imposed unilaterally by unelected Executive Branch bureaucrats. The purpose of A1P is to develop, advance, and ultimately enact an agenda of structural reforms to strengthen Congress by reclaiming its constitutional legislative powers that today are being improperly exercised by the Executive Branch.

This event will be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 5:00 PM MT. Senator Lee looks forward to learning more about the specific issues affecting those who live in these areas.
