WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, May 8, Senator Mike Lee, alongside Chip Roy and Speaker Johnson, will hold a press conference on the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, legislation led by Senator Lee in the Senate and Congressman Chip Roy in the House. It would require proof of American citizenship to register to vote in federal elections.
