Senator Lee sent a letter to all of his colleagues in the U.S. Senate to encourage their support for the Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILT) and Secure Rural Schools (SRS) programs. These programs are vital to the economic security of Utah’s counties, especially the rural ones whose lands are predominately owned by the federal government.
